Adjunct English Instructor – Various Campus Locations

About the role

Lanier Technical College is seeking part‑time Adjunct English Instructors to teach at multiple campus locations across Georgia. Classes are offered during day and evening hours and may be delivered in‑person or online.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional instruction based on approved course syllabi and ensure learning outcomes are met.
• Develop and prepare curriculum, lesson outlines, and instructional materials for assigned courses.
• Evaluate student progress, administer and grade examinations, and maintain accurate grade records.
• Attend required training, workshops, and seminars to stay current with instructional practices.
• Meet all deadlines set by the Associate Dean of General Education and ensure safety and security standards in training areas.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in English plus relevant coursework.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse adult learners in classroom and online settings.
• Submission of unofficial transcripts is mandatory for consideration.
• Preferred: prior post‑secondary teaching experience, online instruction experience, and bilingual ability.
