Adjunct Continuing Education Instructor – Advanced Manufacturing

About the role

The Continuing Education Adjunct Instructor – Advanced Manufacturing provides non‑credit classroom instruction and monitors student progress toward defined goals. The position supports the Technical College System of Georgia standards and may require travel within the service area.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and program outlines for advanced manufacturing courses.
• Evaluate students’ ongoing performance and maintain accurate records of progress.
• Request and manage supplies, equipment, and budget needs for the classroom.
• Ensure a safe and secure training environment, meeting all safety and security requirements.
• Maintain program certification and complete required administrative reports.

Required profile

• Associate degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience).
• At least three years of experience in a business or industrial environment.
• Ability to upload transcripts/certifications and provide supporting documentation.
• Preference for documented experience teaching technical courses or safety classes such as OSHA, forklift, PPE, or AHA.

What we offer

• Hourly wage ranging from $35 to $50, based on qualifications.
• Adjunct position without eligibility for TRS/ERS retirement, state insurance, leave, or holiday pay.
