Adjunct Assistant Professor of Urology (Volunteer Faculty)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a qualified Adjunct Assistant Professor in Urology to join its faculty on a volunteer basis. The appointee will support the Department of Urology by supervising residents and medical students during clinical rotations and contributing to the educational mission of the College of Medicine.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise urology residents and UAMS medical students on urology rotations.
• Provide a minimum of 20 hours of instructional and supervisory activities per year.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic meetings in accordance with college guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with UAMS vaccination policies and other institutional regulations.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited urology residency program.
• Board certification in urology.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved exemption.
