Acquisitions Associate – NYC (Value‑Add Real Estate Projects)

About the role

Holliswood Development, a woman‑owned real estate development and investment firm, is seeking an Acquisitions Associate to support value‑add multifamily, mixed‑use, and luxury development site acquisitions in the $5M–$50M range. The role is contract‑based, hybrid, and based in New York City.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, cash‑flow analyses, and capital‑structure assessments for prospective deals.
• Conduct market research and screen acquisition opportunities across Brooklyn and Manhattan.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and deal‑screening reports for internal review.
• Assist with due‑diligence activities, including legal document review, coordination of third‑party reports, and tracking transaction timelines.
• Collaborate with capital‑markets teams to secure financing and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain organized deal files and contribute to pipeline strategy discussions.

Required profile

• Strong acquisitions and deal‑evaluation experience in NYC real‑estate markets.
• Robust analytical and finance background with a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business or related field (master’s a plus).
• Proven ability to manage multiple deals, meet tight deadlines, and work in a small entrepreneurial team.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
• Comfort using AI and technology tools to enhance daily tasks.
