Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

Stayd Collective is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to manage the full payables cycle for its portfolio of vacation‑rental properties. You will handle every vendor bill—from cleaning and maintenance to utilities—ensuring accurate coding, timely payments, and audit‑ready documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily vendor AP transactions in Guesty and post reimbursable expenses in QuickBooks Online.
• Code invoices to the correct property, entity, and expense account, distinguishing owner‑billable costs.
• Manage the AP inbox, run payment batches, and complete monthly vendor reconciliations.
• Onboard new vendors, collect W‑9s, and prepare annual 1099 filings.
• Reconcile company credit cards, draft bank reconciliations, and support month‑end close and accruals.
• Assist with annual audits and maintain organized financial records.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; 5 years preferred.
• Experience working with U.S. or Canadian entities.
