Accounting Senior Manager

About the role

Join DHJJ as an Accounting Senior Manager and work on complex accounting issues while collaborating with colleagues both in‑person and remotely. This role offers a clear path toward becoming a Principal and contributes to delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Apply accounting expertise to review, analyze, and present financial data that meets client expectations.
• Utilize knowledge of professional standards, emerging regulations, and corporate governance to solve complex problems.
• Diagnose client opportunities using deep understanding of their businesses, processes, and industries, and suggest effective solutions.
• Scope, plan, and manage assignments, leveraging resources for maximum profitability and overseeing budgets, billings, and cash collections.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and career development support to Senior Associates, Managers, and team members.
• Generate new business, expand existing client relationships, and contribute to firm knowledge through articles and research.

Required profile

• Licensed CPA with at least 10 years of related accounting experience.
• Demonstrated desire to advance to a Principal role and help grow the firm.
• Proven ability to build long‑term client relationships and add value through advisory services.

Required skills

• Expertise in multiple accounting platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
