About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking an Accountant 3 to join the Financial Management Division of the Department of Community Health. This full‑time position supports the recording and reporting of indirect costs and provides banking services to internal and external customers.
Key responsibilities
- Perform and oversee accounting activities under broad supervision.
- Develop, implement, and monitor accounting processes.
- Record and report indirect costs in a timely manner.
- Provide banking services to internal and external stakeholders.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Two (2) years of professional accounting experience, or equivalent experience at the lower level Accountant 2 (FIP021).
