Account Representative – Core Safety (Utah & Northern NV)

About the role

The Account Representative for Core Safety in 3M's Personal Safety Division will drive sales and build relationships across Utah and Northern Nevada. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, showcasing 3M safety solutions and ensuring territory growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory, develop sales coverage plans and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Apply business‑unit marketing policies, execute the selling process, and demonstrate product applications to customers.
• Provide sales support to distributors and internal teams, and report market conditions, competitive activity, and product performance.
• Plan and allocate time and resources effectively while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Maintain accurate account and prospect information and manage sales support materials.
• Exhibit leadership by influencing accounts, prospects and peers, and mentor junior sales representatives when needed.

Required profile

• Experience in private, public, government or military sectors with a strong sales orientation.
• Self‑directed, goal‑focused and capable of developing tactics to meet objectives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead, influence and build consensus across teams.
