Account Manager Training Program – 12‑Month Development

About the role

SunSource’s Grow Our Own (GO2) program is a 12‑month, paid development pathway designed for recent graduates who want to launch a career in technical industrial sales. Participants receive mentorship, hands‑on experience, and comprehensive product training before transitioning to a full‑time Account Manager position in the Orlando/Daytona territory.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a structured, paid 12‑month training program at our Orlando headquarters, receiving mentorship and in‑depth product education.
• Learn the full sales cycle and relationship‑building techniques with new and existing customers in the industrial sector.
• Collaborate with experienced Account Managers on onsite customer visits to apply learning in real‑world settings.
• Study the latest industrial and hydraulic technology and understand how to integrate it into customer solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any field); degrees in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Sales or related areas are a plus.
• Relevant coursework, certifications or training in supply chain, sales or engineering are advantageous.
• Ability to converse in Spanish is a plus.
• Internship or co‑op experience in sales, distribution or manufacturing is beneficial.
• Interest and aptitude for mechanical or electrical concepts.
• Willingness to relocate for the training period and subsequent placement in the Orlando/Daytona territory.
• Competitive nature with a strong drive to achieve results in a performance‑based environment.
