Account Manager – Pharma Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an Account Manager – Pharma Solutions to join BASF’s Nutrition & Health team in the Research Triangle Park area. The role focuses on expanding BASF’s presence in the pharmaceutical and biopharma market across the United States, building long‑term customer relationships and driving sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned U.S. territory, targeting pharmaceutical and biopharma customers.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing customers, communicating the value of BASF’s solutions.
• Develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including R&D, marketing and supply chain, to deliver tailored solutions.
• Travel up to 50 % of the time to meet customers, attend industry events and support regional initiatives.
