Account Manager – Beauty Care Solutions

About the role

Join BASF’s Care Chemicals division as an Account Manager for Beauty Care Solutions. You will work with leading cosmetics and cleaning brands, translating customer needs into innovative active‑ingredient offers while managing the full Order‑to‑Cash process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key customers, acting as the primary technical and commercial interface.
• Define and execute account strategies, including growth roadmaps, innovation pipelines, and value‑creation initiatives.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms in line with BASF’s governance.
• Identify, qualify, and drive new business opportunities through product qualification and technical evaluations at customer sites.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer strategies to support proactive account planning.
• Document customer insights, project progress, and technical learnings to ensure structured communication across teams.

Required profile

• Based near Florham Park, NJ, with flexibility to work remotely and on‑site as needed.
• Proven experience in account management or sales within the cosmetics, chemicals, or related industries.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
