Account Executive – SMB Team Sales

About the role
T-Mobile is looking for an energetic Account Executive to join its SMB Team Sales in New Orleans. You will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition across multiple territories, building relationships, and delivering tailored wireless solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold‑calling, and networking under the guidance of a sales manager.
- Identify customer needs and present solution‑based recommendations for plans, devices, accessories, and value‑added services.
- Negotiate terms and close new business deals.
- Maintain and report on the sales funnel using automation and prospecting tools.
- Participate in training, sales meetings, and continuous skill development.
- Contribute to creative sales proposals and approaches.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of verifiable new‑customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commission‑based environment.
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast‑changing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Effective negotiation and closing capabilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with sales‑force automation and funnel‑management tools.
- Experience preparing and delivering product/service proposals and pricing quotations.
