About the role

Scribe is a fast‑growing SaaS company helping Fortune 500 firms capture and reuse their work intelligence. The SMB Account Executive role is the entry point for sales careers, handling high‑volume inbound demand and closing deals.

Key responsibilities

• Own inbound SMB opportunities from first touch to closed‑won, managing the full sales cycle.
• Run product demos that map Scribe’s capabilities to each prospect’s documentation and workflow challenges.
• Maintain a clean pipeline, tight follow‑ups, and steady momentum across a high volume of active deals.
• Develop product fluency quickly to handle objections, answer tough questions, and position Scribe against alternatives.
• Share frontline signals with the team about resonating messages, common objections, and deal‑closing factors.
• Consistently hit monthly quota and use the role as a foundation for moving into up‑market sales.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of BDR, SDR, or equivalent SaaS/AI sales experience (closing experience not required).
• Operates with urgency, proactively following up and treating momentum as the default.
• Highly organized, able to manage a full pipeline while keeping every interaction attentive.
• Communicates clearly, translating a complex product into immediate relevance for busy buyers.
• Values getting things done over perfection and learns fastest by doing.
