Academic Success Center Assistant (Chatt Tech Students Only)

About the role

The Academic Success Center Assistant provides front‑line support to students at the Chattahoochee Technical College campus in Marietta. This Federal Work‑Study position helps create a welcoming environment, assists with workshops and events, and offers basic academic assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Greet students, manage the flow of the Center, and handle Accudemia sign‑ins.
• Perform basic computer and office tasks, including creating simple promotional materials.
• Assist with workshops, events, and related set‑up.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Center and organize student resources.
• Provide basic academic support and relay student needs to supervisors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Eligibility for Federal Work‑Study and completion of the FAFSA.
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible non‑citizen status.
• Enrolled at Chattahoochee Technical College for the semester of employment, in good academic standing.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer‑service skills.
• Reliable, professional, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
• Familiarity with Accudemia sign‑in system.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $12.00.
• Maximum of 19 work hours per week.
