A220 Flightline Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift

About the role

Airbus is seeking an A220 Flightline Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift at its Mobile, AL manufacturing facility. The inspector will ensure aircraft system integrity and conformity during the flightline phase, from hand‑over through flight testing to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and document test results for functional test procedures.
• Perform special inspections as required by restrictions or special conditions.
• Act as the Quality representative for the flight test team in technical review meetings with liaison, FAL/Flightline, design office, program and quality teams.
• Conduct ground checks, static system tests, APU runs, low‑ and high‑power engine runs, and low‑speed tests.

Required profile

• Experience working in aircraft flightline quality inspection or a similar aerospace environment.
• Ability to interpret design specifications and verify system conformity.
• Strong documentation skills for test results and inspection reports.
