Youth & Family Program Lead

About the role

The Youth & Family Program Lead partners with the Outdoor Pursuits department and club staff to design and deliver high‑quality programming, events, and activities for youth, families, and members at Madison Club. The role emphasizes safety, exceptional service, and engaging experiences through professional and gracious interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Youth and Family Programming team, overseeing events, curriculum, and family‑oriented activities.
• Collaborate with club management to innovate and evolve programming, amenities, and member experiences.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, act as Manager on Duty when needed, and maintain a seasonal activity calendar.
• Develop and coach team members, delivering on‑the‑job training and performance feedback.
• Oversee departmental budgets, expenses, and compliance with safety policies.
• Participate actively in programming, including games, sports, outdoor pursuits, and creative activities.
• Transport participants safely using club vehicles or golf carts, and supervise off‑site events.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and club assets; conduct pre‑use inspections and regular condition assessments.
• Plan and execute club‑wide family events and seasonal programs in partnership with other departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing youth, family, or recreational programming in a club or resort setting.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and ensure safety compliance.
• Comfortable driving and supervising transportation of participants.
• Willingness to participate in overnight camping and on‑site activities as needed.
