Work Café Relationship Manager

About the role

The Work Café Relationship Manager serves as the primary point of contact for sales opportunities, new product account openings, and referrals within Santander's Work Café in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This role blends customer‑facing service with consultative sales to identify and meet the short‑ and long‑term financial needs of both consumer and business clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customers' financial needs and turn routine servicing requests into sales opportunities.
• Develop and deepen relationships through outbound sales activities and proactive cross‑selling of products and services.
• Promote and leverage Work Café services such as co‑working spaces, meeting facilities, and community events.
• Engage B2B partners to promote Work Café programming and inform future offerings.
• Encourage digital adoption by explaining benefits of alternative banking channels.
• Accurately complete account openings, loan applications, servicing requests, and routine transactions while adhering to compliance and security procedures.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in sales, banking, or customer relationship management.
• Consultative approach to identifying financial needs and providing solutions.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on satisfaction and loyalty.
• Ability to promote digital banking channels and ensure error‑free transaction processing.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards in financial services.
