WordPress Designer/Developer (Contract-to-Hire)

About the role

We are seeking a U.S.-based WordPress Designer/Developer to join our digital marketing agency on a contract‑to‑hire basis. The role involves both design and development of WordPress sites, primarily using Elementor, ACF and custom code.

Key responsibilities

• Design website sections and pages as needed
• Build WordPress websites from approved designs
• Develop using Elementor, ACF, custom CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and core WordPress
• Create responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Deliver polished, unique, and professional‑looking sites
• Follow approved project scopes, designs, and wireframes
• Test forms, links, navigation, responsiveness, and basic functionality
• Perform self‑QA before submitting work
• Log updates and progress in Monday.com
• Communicate clearly with the Project Manager
• Assist with website edits, maintenance, and launch preparation
• Occasionally join client‑facing calls when required

Required profile

• Strong experience with WordPress and Elementor
• Excellent visual design sense and ability to translate Figma designs into code
• Proven ability to create responsive, cross‑device layouts
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating via Slack, Monday.com and Loom
• U.S.-based, available for 20–30 hours per week initially
