Web Developer (PHP Focus)

About the role

We are a digital marketing agency looking for a Web Developer who thrives in a fast‑moving environment and pays close attention to detail. You will join a small, collaborative team to build and maintain responsive digital experiences for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build, customize, and support responsive websites across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Configure server environments (EE, DNS, SSL, PHP, Plesk, hosting, permissions).
• Develop and debug code using PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate CMS add‑ons, APIs, payment gateways, and XML extensions.
• Ensure quality, version control, staging, performance, security, and PCI compliance.
• Manage database tasks such as imports, exports, synchronization, manipulation, and backups.

Required skills

• HTML5 and CSS3.
• PHP and MySQL.
• JavaScript (including jQuery).
• CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS.
• Front‑end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Responsive web design principles.
• Device detection, cookies, sessions, and CRON jobs.
• Clean, cross‑browser compatible code.
