Web Developer – CMS Migration & Optimization

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to lead a high‑impact website migration and enhance our digital experience. You will work across engineering, product, marketing, and creative teams to transition a subdomain into a unified main website while maintaining performance, scalability, and design integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration of a subdomain into the primary website, ensuring technical accuracy and a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical execution with business goals.
• Implement updated designs, messaging, and content in partnership with design and copywriting contributors.
• Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot WordPress and Squarespace environments for performance and reliability.
• Build scalable CMS structures and workflows that enable marketing teams to manage content independently.
• Handle migration technicalities such as redirects, templates, integrations, and page architecture.
• Ensure SEO best practices are applied throughout migration and content updates.
• Conduct QA for cross‑device responsiveness, accessibility, and overall user experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional web development experience.
• Proven experience leading or contributing to complex website migrations or CMS transitions.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to manage technical complexity independently.
• Excellent communication skills to explain risks, timelines, and dependencies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, marketing, and creative teams.
