Vice President of Operations

About the role

This senior leadership position oversees the company’s production and operational performance, driving financial results and continuous improvement across the enterprise. The Vice President of Operations partners with senior leaders to shape strategic initiatives, optimize procurement, and ensure reliable delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Meet financial goals related to production and operational efficiency.
• Lead enterprise‑wide cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement programs.
• Support strategic planning, low‑cost manufacturing, and new business development.
• Implement and enforce procurement strategies while optimizing inventory levels.
• Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets.
• Drive process improvements and maintain advanced production technology.
• Oversee shop‑floor productivity using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Champion Configuration Management to ensure inventory accuracy and asset control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing complex operational environments.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Proven integrity, professionalism, and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to analyze data, evaluate outcomes, and make informed decisions.
