Vice President of Marketing

About the role

UnitedMasters is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to shape and amplify its cultural presence. Based in Brooklyn, the role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution to drive growth for both artists and brand partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and scale a social media presence that reacts in real time to music and pop‑culture trends.
• Transform UnitedMasters’ social channels into a competitive advantage, establishing a unique brand voice.
• Build and lead a culturally fluent social team, creating a content engine that moves at the speed of culture.
• Partner with artist services and music teams to showcase artist successes as core storytelling assets.
• Design and execute a 360° marketing strategy targeting artists and brands, managing acquisition goals, CAC and efficiency benchmarks.
• Own the marketing budget across paid, owned and earned media, overseeing brand, PR and paid media initiatives.
• Craft product positioning and messaging grounded in user research and market insights.
• Lead PR and communications efforts to secure earned media that reinforces UnitedMasters’ differentiation.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading marketing functions in fast‑moving, culture‑driven environments.
• Deep understanding of music, entertainment and digital culture.
• Track record of building high‑performing teams and operating models.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to meet acquisition and efficiency targets.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional partners such as artist services, product and brand partnerships.
