Utilities Operator – Brewery

About the role

The Utilities Operator is the backbone of our Fort Collins brewery, ensuring critical utility systems run smoothly. You will manage steam generation, ammonia refrigeration, CO2 handling, compressed air, water treatment, and high‑voltage electricity, making real‑time decisions to keep production moving.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain steam generation, ammonia refrigeration, CO2 collection, compressed air, water treatment, and high‑voltage distribution systems.
• Perform boiler water and evaporative condenser water chemical treatment and basic maintenance tasks.
• Document shift activities, respond to utility system optimization requests, and analyze process data for equipment improvements.
• Lead and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives across the brewery.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; Stationary Engineer License or enrollment in a related program preferred.
• Knowledge of safety policies (LOTO, PSM, confined space, personal fall protection).
• Ability to work safely and autonomously in a fast‑paced, loud production environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork.
