Urgent Hire: Full-Time Direct Care Worker

About the role

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. This urgent full-time position involves providing safe, respectful, and personalized support to elderly, disabled, and intellectually-challenged participants in their homes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physical and emotional care to participants, including assistance with illness, injury, or disability.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation when needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and help with medication reminders.
• Prepare meals, shop for groceries, and support daily living activities.
• Provide personal care such as toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and encouragement to promote wellbeing.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb and to stand, bend, kneel, or reach for extended periods.
