Temporary Maintenance Technician – The Fairways

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a temporary assignment at The Fairways community in Tacoma. This full‑time position covers a leave of absence and offers the chance to transition to a permanent role at another Greystar community after successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical work to maintain buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with vendors when needed.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in residential or commercial properties.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work a Saturday‑Wednesday, 8 am‑5 pm schedule.
• Willingness to work on‑site for the duration of the temporary assignment.
