Technical Support Engineer – PACS

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer – PACS is the first point of contact for customers using DeepHealth’s imaging platform. You will provide expert second‑level support, troubleshoot complex issues, and help ensure a seamless healthcare IT experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical support resource for PACS projects, handling escalated incidents via phone, email and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, Engineering and Project Management teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Monitor support queues, assign tickets, and maintain detailed incident records.
• Perform system updates, upgrades, and maintenance on DeepHealth PACS.
• Conduct pre‑sales technical evaluations and provide effort estimates for customer solutions.
• Integrate and support solutions in public‑cloud environments and DeepHealth platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in IT support and 3 years in healthcare or radiology‑focused support.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and occasional travel.

Required skills

• Windows (7+) and Windows Server operating systems.
• Linux system administration and command‑line proficiency.
• MSSQL database management and SSRS reporting.
• Networking concepts and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with RIS, DICOM, HL7, EMR and other healthcare IT systems.
• Public‑cloud platforms and cloud‑based integrations.
• Scripting and data‑serialization tools.
• Ticketing systems and ITIL‑based support processes.
• PC/server hardware knowledge.
