Technical Service Specialist – New England Automotive Refinish

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to support our Automotive Refinish business in the New England market (NY, CT, MA). The role combines field service, product training, and technical support to ensure successful application of our coatings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and training to body shop and distribution customers on Surventis automotive refinish products.
• Lead product demonstrations, new product introductions, and assist the sales team in converting new business.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, troubleshoot application and color‑match issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Sales to achieve KPI targets and drive financial performance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 10 years of experience as an automotive refinish technician.
• Strong knowledge of competitive products, coating technologies, and OEM paint approval processes.
• Ability to travel within NY, CT, and MA and represent the company in the field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for presentations and reporting.
• Experience using CRM systems (preferred).
