Technical Program Manager, Data Center Infrastructure

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a senior Technical Program Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of data‑center projects, from construction through commissioning and day‑to‑day operations. You will partner with Data Center and Compute teams to ensure new sites are built on schedule, meet performance requirements, and are ready for production workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale the data‑center TPM team, including hiring and development.
• Lead program reviews and executive communications on status, risks, and blockers.
• Coordinate construction‑to‑production execution across multiple sites, managing contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Own schedule tracking, risk identification, and mitigation, providing clear visibility for leadership.
• Support site selection, energy strategy, and due‑diligence to meet aggressive compute demand.
• Manage long‑lead‑time procurement and global supply‑chain dependencies.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and Compliance teams on evolving requirements.
• Drive vendor accountability on contractual milestones and equipment delivery.
• Create repeatable processes and playbooks for concurrent site deployments.
• Travel up to 20% to validate progress and build contractor relationships.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in data‑center construction, operations, or infrastructure program management at hyperscale or critical‑infrastructure firms.
• Proven management experience building and leading TPM or program‑management teams.
• Track record of delivering multi‑site infrastructure programs with compressed timelines and complex cross‑functional dependencies.
• Ability to align multiple partners, vendors, and engineering teams around shared deliverables.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and making decisions with incomplete information.
