Technical Program Manager, Apps Platform

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead the Apps Platform effort that underpins Claude, Cowork, Claude Code, and future products. You will act as the connective tissue across platform engineering and product teams, ensuring a unified roadmap that accelerates product delivery and developer velocity.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end cross‑Apps platform roadmap, managing sequencing, dependencies, and trade‑offs.
• Drive alignment between platform engineers and product teams so platform investments translate into real consumer value.
• Identify duplicate work across surfaces and consolidate it into shared platform capabilities.
• Establish operating rhythms, including planning, status reporting, escalation paths, and launch coordination.
• Create and maintain program documentation such as roadmaps, risk assessments, and communication plans.
• Facilitate technical decision‑making by gathering stakeholders, building consensus, and resolving blockers.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in technical program management with a record of delivering complex, cross‑functional programs.
• Hands‑on experience with platform engineering efforts (shared services, developer platforms, or common capabilities).
• Proven ability to drive platform adoption across multiple product teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage parallel workstreams across distributed teams.
• Comfortable thriving in ambiguous, unstructured environments and bringing order to chaos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
