Technical Program Manager, AI Delivery

About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join Cohere’s customer‑facing Engineering Program Management team. You’ll shape Cohere’s operations, collaborate with leading minds in the LLM space, work directly with strategic customers and multiple engineering, product, and go‑to‑market teams, and act as the technical voice of Cohere for the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate clear, timely, and objective updates across the tech organization, leadership, and strategic customers.
• Optimize complex issues into actionable strategies, aligning engineering with product, business, and marketing.
• Plan and manage program schedules, identify dependencies, and mitigate risks.
• Execute on‑time delivery, establish status checkpoints, and address development needs.
• Problem‑solve proactively, coordinating cross‑functional dependencies and prioritizing impacts on schedule and quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years as an Engineering or Technical Program Manager, including at least 2 years in customer‑facing technical delivery of enterprise‑grade AI solutions.
• Experience with LLM training or optimization is a strong differentiator.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑organized, and passionate about making customers successful.
• Bias for action with a strong execution focus.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams across time zones and hold leaders accountable.
