Systems Administrator

About the role

Join GDIT’s fast‑growing US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (US BICES‑X) program as a Systems Administrator. You will support a globally dispersed team that provides critical intelligence‑sharing capabilities to warfighters and coalition partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desktop support and troubleshoot Windows and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
• Configure, image, and maintain workstations, laptops, thin clients, printers, VoIPs, KVMs and other peripherals.
• Maintain operating systems, drivers, firmware and software updates.
• Inspect and test fiber infrastructure in telecom closets to resolve connectivity issues.
• Monitor and resolve tickets (ServiceNow experience a plus) and conduct hardware/software audits for security compliance.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and logistics teams to address security violations, enforce DISA STIGs, and manage hardware asset inventory.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 3 years of related IT systems administration experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
