About the role

This 12‑week assignment supports endoscopy and surgical procedures by ensuring equipment and supplies are ready, scrubbing and assisting the surgical team, and maintaining a safe sterile environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensures availability of equipment and supplies for endoscopy and surgical procedures.
  • Scrubs and assists during surgical and endoscopic procedures.
  • Organizes activities and supplies based on the surgery schedule.
  • Communicates patient care information to patients, families, and co‑workers.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on‑call.

Required skills

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Surgical technology certification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques.
  • Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
