About the role

Join the State of Georgia’s Department of Juvenile Justice as a Supply Warehouse Clerk 2, supporting agency sites across the state. You will handle the receipt, storage, distribution, and maintenance of supplies, equipment, and uniforms while ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up, deliver, and issue supplies, equipment, and uniforms to agency locations.
• Mark items with identification tags, stamps, or electric marking tools.
• Pack, unpack, receive, count, and record inventory using manual or computer methods.
• Store items orderly in warehouses, tool rooms, or supply rooms and verify inventory through physical counts.
• Follow all safety guidelines for equipment and chemical handling.
• Perform lawn care duties, including mowing, watering, raking, blowing leaves, and regular weeding.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lb or more.
• Experience operating lawn equipment such as tractors, zero‑turn mowers, and small power tools.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures and travel around the state.
