Supplier Management Lead – Electrical, Hydraulics & MRO

About the role

The Supplier Management Lead for Electrical, Hydraulics & MRO will own the supplier base for electrical components, hydraulic parts and MRO materials. You will drive performance, strategic sourcing and contract management while mentoring a team of buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, evaluating performance on quality, delivery and cost.
• Lead sourcing strategies, negotiate pricing, terms and long‑term contracts, and consolidate spend across business units.
• Coach and support buyers on supplier escalations, complex sourcing activities and order management.
• Monitor high‑risk orders, coordinate with Planning, Operations and Engineering to ensure material availability.
• Assess supplier risk, create contingency plans and support business continuity for critical commodities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5‑7 years of experience in procurement, supplier management or strategic sourcing, preferably with electrical, hydraulic or MRO commodities.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle ERP or similar procurement systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with procurement software and supplier relationship management tools.
