Strategy & Operations Senior Associate

About the role

Clipboard is looking for a Strategy & Operations Senior Associate to join its Billing team in San Francisco. This generalist position offers exposure to a variety of high‑impact projects that drive profitability and cash flow for the company’s long‑term‑care staffing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an internal predictive‑analytics model and underwriting process to identify high‑risk payers early.
• Research, evaluate, and onboard vendors that embed AI agents into customer‑facing collections.
• Redesign payment conversion workflows, including migration of check‑based payments to eCheck to accelerate cash conversion.
• Lead and mentor a team of Billing Account Managers to improve collection efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance, product, and operations teams to align billing strategies with overall business goals.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to dive deep into data and processes.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross‑functionally.
• Experience in billing, finance, or operations within a high‑growth startup is a plus.
