Strategic Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead material and procurement initiatives across our North American manufacturing network. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on collaboration, acting as the primary supply‑chain advocate for assigned customer accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end supply‑chain strategies aligned with customer requirements and operational goals.
• Serve as the main liaison between customers and manufacturing facilities, driving inventory turnover, asset velocity and material flow.
• Partner with procurement and global commodity teams to support strategic sourcing and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Aggregate and analyse supply‑chain data to inform sourcing decisions, flexibility and performance targets.
• Support new‑product introductions with material planning, pricing strategies and supply‑chain readiness.
• Collaborate with quotation and product‑costing teams to ensure competitive pricing and efficient supply‑chain alignment.
• Lead material‑related negotiations, including repricing and customer‑controlled pricing discussions.
• Build strong relationships with finance, manufacturing, procurement and customer‑account teams while ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Required profile

• Strategic and analytical supply‑chain professional with extensive experience in complex customer relationships and manufacturing operations across North America.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive data‑driven decision‑making.
• Strong communication and relationship‑management skills.
