About the role

We are building a small, high‑leverage quality engineering practice that spans every product pod. This staff‑level position focuses on owning automated‑testing strategy, frameworks, and AI‑first tooling to raise the organization’s testing capability.

Key responsibilities

• Own the automated‑testing strategy and frameworks for our UI product, starting with Resident Onboarding and then Command Center.
• Make quality measurable by maintaining a risk‑weighted registry of critical flows and reporting live coverage dashboards.
• Lead an AI‑first approach using Claude to accelerate test creation, execution, and maintenance.
• Modernize integration testing by moving partner verification from manual UI checks to API‑based automation.
• Coach engineers to embed quality into design and PR reviews, and drive the Quality Enablement practice across teams.

Required profile

• Staff‑level engineer with deep experience designing and owning test automation across unit, integration, contract, and end‑to‑end layers.
• Passionate about quality engineering as a craft, not a stepping stone.
• AI‑first mindset, comfortable building Claude‑driven workflows and tooling.
• Exceptional communicator who can align engineers, product managers, and leaders.
• Self‑starter with high autonomy, able to turn ambiguous quality problems into measurable outcomes.
