Sr Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join ePlus Technology’s New York office. The role combines deep technical expertise with sales engineering to design and sell complex IT solutions for our regional customers. You will work closely with the sales team, OEM partners and delivery engineers to translate business needs into sustainable technology road‑maps.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across multiple technology towers and act as a trusted advisor to sales teams and customers.
• Deliver customer‑facing presentations on ePlus core competencies and solution offerings.
• Assist in account planning, qualify hardware, software and services opportunities, and author technical sections of RFP/RFI/RFQ responses.
• Develop detailed solution architectures, bill‑of‑materials and proposals, and lead scoping reviews for Statement of Work creation.
• Serve as the technical liaison with OEM channel sales, maintain certifications, and stay current on product updates.
• Conduct knowledge transfers with solution architects and service delivery teams.
• Identify new product or service opportunities and propose improvements to regional processes.
• Participate in weekly pre‑sales engineering calls, forecast pipeline revenue, and host lunch‑and‑learn sessions with customers.

Required profile

• Located in the New York Metro area and able to work on‑site two days per week (hybrid work model).
• Proven experience as a senior‑level solutions architect or sales engineer in a pre‑sales environment.
• Strong communication skills to build credibility with sales teams and customers.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and proposals.
• Willingness to maintain OEM certifications and stay updated on technology trends.
