Join the Government Technologies (QGOV) division at Qualcomm to work on cutting-edge wireless and satellite communication products. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the research, development, and integration of specialized systems designed for military and government applications worldwide.

Missions principales

• Support the R&D, integration, and testing of government-specific systems, including adapting commercial technologies to new environments.
• Design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud-edge software, specialized applications, and utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to implement key functionalities.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: coding, unit testing, bug fixing, and integration efforts.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, regression testing, and issue triage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and produce comprehensive technical documentation.

Profil recherché

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate user requirements into technical implementations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a US Citizen eligible for government security clearance.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in San Diego, CA (5 days per week).

Competences requises

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with database management software.
• Knowledge of API integration and development.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.).
• Understanding of embedded systems and cloud-edge architectures.
