Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the role

An early‑stage adtech startup building AI‑native advertising infrastructure is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer. You will work across an advertiser‑facing platform, attribution systems and analytics pipelines, turning real customer and business needs into robust technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical projects from scoping and design through implementation, testing, deployment and production maintenance.
• Build and maintain reliable backend systems and production‑grade APIs (REST, gRPC) with a focus on scalability and fault tolerance.
• Operate and improve production services, including monitoring, observability, incident response and performance troubleshooting.
• Deploy, operate and troubleshoot services on AWS cloud environments.
• Design and optimise PostgreSQL schemas and queries for analytical and transactional workloads.
• Collaborate with go‑to‑market and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to analytics, attribution and event‑driven data pipelines that power measurement and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven track record owning technical projects end‑to‑end in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience building backend systems and designing/consuming production APIs.
• Strong practical AWS experience (deployment, operation, troubleshooting).
• Proficiency in Python (Django and/or FastAPI), REST API design and async patterns.
• PostgreSQL experience: query optimisation and schema design.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

What we offer

• Salary range $120,000 – $150,000 USD per year.
