Software Engineer - Frontend and Mobile

About the role

BitGo is seeking a Software Engineer with strong React and React Native experience to build cross‑platform mobile applications that enhance the BitGo experience for customers. The role is full‑time, onsite in New York, and involves close collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced iOS and Android applications using React Native.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, fix bugs, and conduct thorough testing.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor peers on best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in mobile or web application development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of the full development lifecycle.
• Experience with UI/UX standards and mobile design principles.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
