Software Engineer, Context Engine

About the role

You will join a full‑stack data team that makes Sierra’s AI agents smarter with every interaction. The team builds real‑time pipelines, analytics products, and deep personalization primitives that turn millions of conversations into measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build the core data platform at scale, including real‑time eventing, streaming and batch ETL pipelines, and an Iceberg‑based lakehouse.
• Own interactive OLAP querying, orchestration, and experimentation systems to ensure data is trustworthy, fast, and easy to use.
• Develop long‑term agent memory systems, reusable Customer Data Platform primitives, and optimization loops that personalize interactions and lift business outcomes.

Required profile

• 4‑7+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience building production data systems or products.
• Demonstrated depth in either platform engineering (large‑scale data processing, distributed systems) or product engineering (full‑stack data‑driven applications).
• Passion for AI‑enabled products and a bias toward high‑autonomy, high‑impact work.
