Site Reliability Engineer (US - Pacific time)

About the role

PostHog is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help keep its analytics platform highly available and performant for thousands of customers. You will join a remote‑first engineering team that builds, monitors, and automates the infrastructure that powers product analytics, AI features, and data warehousing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure on cloud environments.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and incident‑response processes to minimize downtime.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve system observability and performance.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and lead post‑mortem analyses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site reliability engineering or related operations roles.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on automation and scalability.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
