About the role
The Settlement Coordinator works remotely to manage the full settlement lifecycle for personal injury cases. You will prepare litigation and settlement documents, coordinate with insurers, opposing counsel, clients, and internal teams, and ensure accurate disbursement of funds.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review litigation and settlement documentation.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, opposing counsel, clients, and internal staff to facilitate settlements.
- Oversee escrow and trust account activity, verify lien and payoff amounts, and track disbursements.
- Maintain detailed records of all settlement-related transactions and ensure compliance with firm policies and regulations.
- Communicate case status updates, resolve discrepancies, and verify settlement figures.
- Support process‑improvement initiatives and keep digital files organized.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative personnel to deliver a smooth client‑centered settlement experience.
Required profile
- Experience with settlement services and coordinating case resolution steps.
- Strong communication and customer‑service abilities for professional interaction with clients, attorneys, insurers, and vendors.
- Escrow management experience, including handling trust accounts and tracking disbursements.
- Prior experience in a law firm, insurance, title/escrow, or personal‑injury environment is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines remotely.
- Proficiency with case‑management and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, digital document‑management systems).
- Ability to interpret settlement statements, payoffs, and liens while adhering to confidentiality and compliance requirements.

What we offer
- Full‑time remote position (9 am – 5 pm EST).
- 5 US holidays paid, 4 local holidays paid.
- After 90 days: 5 sick days.
