Service Technician

About the role

Honda of Harvey is seeking a certified Service Technician to join our clean, temperature‑controlled service department. You will work directly with Service Advisors and customers to diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of automotive systems in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair order work efficiently and in line with dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; conduct test drives as needed.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to keep customers informed of additional service requirements.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Fast learner with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good customer service orientation and ability to work as a team player.
• Valid driver’s license and personal tools & toolbox.

Required skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools.
• Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment.
