Service Supervisor – Block 75 (Student Living)

About the role

The Service Supervisor for Block 75 ensures that all interior and exterior areas of the student living community meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance activities and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage work orders generated from resident service requests and routine community upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, procuring supplies, completing maintenance tasks, and inspecting finished work.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common areas.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards, scope, and specifications, and create corrective action plans as needed.
• Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budgetary limits.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.
