Service Business Unit Financial Analyst

About the role

The Service Business Unit Financial Analyst partners with finance and non‑finance leaders to drive strategic decisions for Applied Materials' service business. You will develop cost models, evaluate new product economics, and support investment decisions while continuously improving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement between finance and business executives to shape service‑related decisions.
• Develop unit‑cost models for new products, identify key cost drivers, and create reduction roadmaps.
• Prepare quarterly revenue, margin, and valuation models, and track execution opportunities to improve margins.
• Collaborate with business development on cost verification, pricing rationalization, and risk management.
• Manage investment spending, conduct ROI analyses, and support special projects or M&A activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 3–7 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or SQL is preferred.
