Server – Guest Dining Experience

About the role

Join Discovery Land Company as a Server and help create memorable dining experiences for members and guests. You will deliver attentive, high‑quality service in a fast‑paced, upscale restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, anticipate needs, and respond quickly to requests.
• Provide detailed menu knowledge, recommend items, and accommodate allergies or special diets.
• Demonstrate expertise in cocktails, wine, beer, and beverage pairings.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system, issue checks, and close sales according to policy.
• Ensure food orders are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food‑safety standards throughout the shift.
• Complete opening and closing duties, inventory counts, and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Adhere to all government, health, and security regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of serving experience in a full‑service, high‑end restaurant, club, or resort.
• Knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP, and ability to obtain a State Food Safety Certificate.
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and service.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Understanding of food safety standards (ServSafe, HACCP).
• Knowledge of wine, cocktail, and beverage pairing.
