Senior/Staff Software Engineer – C++ Drivers, Diagnostic & Embedded

About the role

You have the opportunity to work on the development of Intravascular Ultrasound Systems. As a member of a cross‑functional team you will collaborate with electrical, transducer, software, system and ultrasound engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Be a key contributor to the development of medical capital equipment.
• Architect, design, and develop driver, diagnostic, and embedded software for intravascular ultrasound systems.
• Interface with multi‑disciplinary teams to refine design requirements for next‑generation devices.
• Create software requirement specifications, architecture documents, and detailed design documents.
• Design, develop, and debug driver and embedded software that implements communication between hardware and application software using C++.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in software/embedded development, preferably in medical electronics.
• Strong C++ skills and experience in a Windows environment.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven ability to create detailed design documentation, verification and testing plans.
• Knowledge of digital signal and image processing and CUDA is a plus.
