Senior Technical Program Manager, ECU Reliability & Durability Validation

About the role

RVT is expanding its ECU portfolio across multiple vehicle platforms and brand partners. We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of R&D reliability and durability validation programs for our ECU product line, ensuring each unit meets stringent automotive environmental and mechanical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain validation program schedules, aligning test milestones with ECU and vehicle‑level gates across all maturity phases.
• Coordinate test execution in internal labs (Northern and Southern California) and third‑party facilities, managing capacity, sample allocation, and sequencing.
• Develop and maintain the DVP&R test plan covering thermal cycling, vibration, shock, humidity, corrosion, and accelerated life testing.
• Identify, escalate, and drive mitigation of risks related to schedule, lab availability, sample readiness, and failure closure.
• Support test readiness reviews with ECU TPMs, confirming infrastructure, samples, and procedures are in place before each program gate.
• Author and maintain program trackers and other coordination artifacts.

Required profile

• Proven program management experience in hardware validation or automotive electronics.
• Strong organizational influence to drive multi‑team test programs to successful completion.
• Excellent communication skills to serve as the connective tissue between test engineers, design teams, labs, and external facilities.
